Christopher K. Kiplok is a partner whose practice includes judicial and out-of-court insolvency matters and financial litigation, with a particular focus on the liquidation of brokerage firms. He routinely briefs congressional committees, domestic and foreign regulators, self-regulatory organizations and industry groups. He is a regular panelist and lecturer on topics, including “too big to fail” insolvencies, cross-border bankruptcies and complex financial litigation.
Sarah Loomis Cave is a partner who focuses on bankruptcy litigation, among other areas. She has worked on the largest financial crisis-related litigations in history, including Lehman Brothers, MF Global and Bernard L. Madoff Securities.
Dustin P. Smith is an associate in the firm’s corporate reorganization and litigation departments. He represents companies restructuring their financial affairs both in and out of court as well as representing secured and general creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcies, out of court workouts and adversary and collateral proceedings. Mr.Smith is currently engaged in the representation of the Trustee in the SIPA liquidations of Lehman Brothers Inc. and MF Global Inc.
